Cleanliness and Vaccinations
To maintain a hygienic environment, all grooming tools and areas are sanitized between appointments. We require all pets to be up-to-date on their Rabies vaccinations, and proof may be asked to be presented before any grooming services are provided. If your pet cannot be vaccinated due to health reasons, a veterinarian’s note is required.
Fear-Free Grooming
We prioritize your pet’s emotional and physical well-being at Geovana Mobile Pet Spa. Using fear-free grooming techniques, we strive to make the grooming experience as positive as possible. If necessary, we may split the appointment into multiple sessions to help pets who need time to adjust, ensuring a stress-free experience.
Matting Policy
Our “Humanity Over Vanity” approach means we prioritize your pet’s comfort over appearance. Mats can be painful, and we will shave them if needed to prevent discomfort. By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge that Geovana Mobile Pet Spa is not responsible for any issues caused by or concealed by mats.
Medical Concerns and Senior Pets
We handle our grooming equipment with care, but grooming can sometimes reveal or exacerbate existing health issues. In case of an accident, you will be notified immediately. Urgent veterinary care will be sought at your expense, unless the injury is a direct result of our handling.
Double-Coated Dogs
We generally advise against shaving double-coated dogs as it can affect the coat’s growth and texture. However, we will equip you with the necessary information to make the best decision for your pet’s grooming needs.
Fleas and Ticks
Should fleas or ticks be discovered on your pet, we will contact you to pick them up immediately. A fee may be applied for the cleaning and lost appointment time, and a vet’s clearance will be required before the next grooming session.
Cancellation and No-Shows
Cancellations or rescheduling should be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Payment Policy
Our pricing may adjust based on your pet’s condition and any additional services required. Payments are due right after the service has been rendered. Late payments will incur additional charges.
Pickup Policy
Please be prompt in picking up your pet after their grooming session. Late pickups will result in a fee for the additional care provided.
